Hmmm….thanksgiving….my thought about this day. Well, to start I have to say I didn’t grow up with thanksgiving so when I moved to America, I actually found it annoying! Well what I found annoying is that there are so many “holidays” over here? I felt I went from one “holiday” to another “holiday” and no breather in-between. But what I really found strange was that Americans had 1 day they showed their thanks for everything?
However, I try to say thanks as often as I can (remember) because I don’t have any guarantee I’ll be here tomorrow!!!
But thinking about it, I guess it wasn’t such a bad idea to make a national Thanksgiving day, one day a year where we all give our blessings and thanks for what we have (don’t have) in our lives! That way everyone get’s reminded to stop, think and say thanks!!
So after browsing and watching videos, and reading about how Thanksgiving came to be …… I guess I should say Thanks….
